Suit Dreams’ Follow Suit Event Collects 500+ Suits for NYC HS Students (PICS)

We should all “Follow Suit”!  Forgive the cheesy play on words, but I couldn’t help it…  And indeed, we should all follow suit!  The Suit Dreams Annual Suit Drive was held on April 5th brought in more than 500 suit and tuxedo donations to benefit high school seniors in New York City.  The event was in partnership with Pynkberri which collected prom gowns through the event benefiting students in NYC and Baltimore, MD.

Guests who brought suits or prom gowns received complementary admission, beverages and refreshments compliments of Omar’s Kitchen at the event held at NYC’s Greenhouse.

Many high school students, living
in an urban community do not have access to the appropriate attire for Prom, Interviews
and/or Internships. Because of financial difficulties, many parents
are unable to provide their sons or daughters with essential items for these life events.  Suit Dreams aimed to use this initiative to
leverage the resources of NYC’s leading young professionals to collect suit donations for this
year’s Suit Dreams students. Donations will be distributed to students in conjunction with a professional attire presentation where students will be educated on attire etiquette from a professional perspective.
