Top Designers Create Tees to Benefit Naomi Campbell’s Fashion for Relief
Naomi Campbell in T-Shirts to benefit Fashion for Relief

Yoox.com is launching in China and has teamed up with Naomi Campbell to sell 6 exclusive T-shirts ($35 each) to benefit the non profit she founded, Fashion for Relief.  Her Fierceness will model the unisex shirts designed by 3.1 Phillip Lim, Dolce & Gabbana, Masha Ma, Moschino and Qiu Hao.  The designers looked to China’s rich history and tradition for design inspiration.  The unisex tees are only available at yoox.com.

“I think China is absolutely one of the world’s creative hot spots now,” said Campbell. “Fashion For Relief wanted to do something that stays in China, for the kids in China.”
Fashion For Relief, launched in 2005 with a runway show during New York Fashion Week. Its simple yet powerful idea is to mobilize the fashion industry to support humanitarian causes. To date, it has organized events around the world, many supported by international stars, to raise millions of dollars for people in need. Fashion For Relief’s runway shows feature the most acclaimed models and designers. At the end of each show, donated garments are auctioned off, with all proceeds going to not-for-profit organizations.
I’ve never heard of yoox.com but apparently its parent company, Yoox Group is behind the web design and branding for a lot of the top designers in the industry.  It has a strong list of heavy weights to its credit that are powered by Yoox Group.  Among them are Moncler.com, Armani.com, EmilioPucci.com, Diesel.com and Valentino.com just to name a few.
The Yoox.com site, leverages its long-standing relationships with many designers and fashion heavyweights to feature hard to find products including end-of-season clothing and accessories from the world’s most prestigious designers.  It’s also a go-to spot for eco-friendly fashion, rare vintage finds as well as books and curated collectible art.
