Corporate and Entertainment Celebs Come Out for CUP 6th Annual Leadership Gala (PICS)

The Council of Urban Professionals’ (CUP) Leadership Gala was a star-studded event held on Tuesday, April 2nd. Entertainment celebrities and Hollywood Celebrities were there to recognize New York’s leading women and people of color in the private and non profit worlds.

Among the guests were Chef Roble Ali, Misty Copeland – Soloist, American Ballet Theatre, President and Chairman of Macy’s Inc. Terry Lundgren and Amex CEO, Ken Chenault.

And in the vein of many of these galas with hefty ticket prices, there were a limited number of reduced priced tickets offered for the CUP’s Dessert Lounge & Spring Soiree: CUP Gala After-Party.  I’ve seen quite a few organizations begin to cultivate young professionals with potential to be future donors and supporters who may not be in a position to pay the full event ticket price.

The honorary chair of the event was Goldman Sachs & Co’s Valentino D. Carlotti was also a sponsor of the Evidence Dance Company’s Torch Gala that took place on March 26th.   Take a look at the Gala Chairs and the Benefit Host Committee list.  You may see a few familiar names or names that will become familiar…
